Music

Celebration of God through music is an essential part of our worship and faith life at First Presbyterian Church. Singing and playing music together connects us as a community in a meaningful and unique way.

Our worship service at 9 am features traditional hymns, organ, choir and contemporary worship music. Our worship service at 10:30 am is led by a lively worship band featuring vocals, piano, drum, and guitar.

Choral Music

Love to sing? Come join our choir and worship God in song. We rehearse weekly from fall through spring. We sing regularly during the 9 am worship service.

Bell Choir

Bell choir is a fun and joyful way to express your love of music. Almost anyone can learn to play. Bell choir meets weekly fall-spring and plays often in our worship services.

New Evensong

We gather approximately monthly for special evenings full of praise and music led by our band. These events are both joyful and deeply meaningful. Keep your eye on our website and facebook page for the next New Evensong date.

Other Musical Events

As a music forward congregation, we often have other special musical events include a musical celebration of Advent. In April of 2023, we were proud to present the world premiere of the choral and orchestral work "Dona Nobis Pacem."
