OUR STORY

170 Years of Worship and Witness in Santa Rosa

Since 1855, we’ve been rooted in Christ’s love here in Santa Rosa, seeking to live as a faithful expression of his body in the world. Shaped by God’s Word and Spirit, we gather to worship, grow in discipleship, care for one another, and join in God’s mission of justice, reconciliation, and compassion. As part of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) , we believe the Church is called to be ever reformed—open to the Spirit’s leading and welcoming everyone God brings. We’re an intergenerational community learning to follow Jesus in ways that reshape our lives and help us bear witness to his love in our world.

Meet Our Team

Church Leadership

Our church is led by a group of members, elected by the congregation, who work alongside the pastor to care for our church, make decisions, and help us live out God's love in the community.

Our Beliefs

Scripture-guided, Spirit-empowered

We affirm the triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—as revealed in Scripture. We trust the Bible as the authoritative witness to God’s action in the world, guiding our faith and practice. We embrace the Reformed tradition’s emphasis on continual reformation —trusting that the Holy Spirit is still at work, calling us to grow in understanding and obedience.

Called to Unity and Mission

We affirm God’s call to unity in diversity and seek to participate in God’s mission of reconciliation and renewal.

Welcoming All

Believing every person is made in God’s image, we strive to be an inclusive, reconciling, and welcoming church family. Grounded in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), we are open to all whom God calls.

Shared Ministry

We share responsibility for ministry in partnership, reflecting the Reformed conviction that every follower of Jesus is called to active participation in the life of the church.

Commitment to Peace, Justice, and Reconciliation

We affirm faith as inseparable from action. Guided by our Reformed heritage, we strive for justice, peace, and reconciliation. Our denomination advocates for human rights and partners across traditions to stand with marginalized communities.
