Questions for Reflection

  • When Paul speaks of the church as God’s new temple how does he intend his readers to understand this image more as a metaphor than an actual building?
  • How does our identity in Christ affect our ability to provide a place of belonging?
  • Why is it necessary for us, as a congregation, to create the kind of space for a visitor to experience true belonging versus trying to fit in?
