Questions for Reflection
- In verse 6 Jesus gives his followers instructions “not to give what is holy to dogs and not to throw pearls before swine.”  Although Jesus tells us not to “judge others” we still need to frequently make assessments or evaluations of other people in life. What decisions are you wrestling with at present for which you need discernment?
- What do you think Jesus means when he commands “Do not judge . . .”?
In other words, what sort of “judgment” or assessment is Jesus forbidding? - Which of the three reasons Kent mentioned for not “judging others” do you find most compelling? Why?
