Questions for Reflection

  • For you, what is the greatest difference between the creation account in the Babylonian Enumah Elish vs. that found in Genesis chapter one?
  • How are God’s goodness and beauty both displayed in the verses we read today from Genesis chapter one?
  • How has your contemplation of God’s work of creation stirred you to want to know more about the One who brought it all things into being?
