Starts at 9:00 am
For this Connecting Through Nature event, we will travel to U.C.-Davis for the annual Biodiversity Museum Day. We will meet in the church parking lot at 9:00 a.m. and begin our adventure in Davis at the California Raptor Center where we will see different owls, hawks, and eagles up close.
Depending on the weather we will have a potluck picnic lunch or go to a restaurant then choose our afternoon exhibits. We hope to return to the church parking lot between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. Consult the Biodiversity Museum Day website for more information. Because of the travel and other logistics, it is essential to know if you will join us by Monday, February 11. Sign up here!
Connecting Through Nature is a series of special events designed to celebrate God’s amazing creation in community of all ages. In the past we have gone on an evening owl prowl, enjoyed hikes around Sonoma County, made birdhouses, looked at the stars, and marveled at the migration of Vaux’s swifts.
