We’re in that time . . . the hours of waiting . . . the time between the sadness and suffering of Good Friday and the celebration of Easter Morning.
On Easter morning we’ll celebrate with all of heaven and all of earth that Christ defeated death and rose again to bring us new life. We will lift our voices and hearts in praise to Jesus that each one of us meant so much to God that he would come to earth and die for us so that we might be restored to him once more.
Easter is a time of rejoicing – no more do we have to live in fear and sorrow, no more are we condemned to death! May the reality of Easter and its blessed hope define us and send us out into God’s world as evidence that a new day, a new beginning, and a new life awaits us, because Jesus Christ is risen!
