New Art Show: From Grief to Gratitude

The art created by Peter Krohn is stunning. Saturated colors, use of light, and composition of elements work together to draw our eye and stir our imaginations.

Peter’s art is connected to his personal story – an exhibit of art that combines the story of Peter’s personal history of survival as a refugee from WWII and his journey from fear and grief to gratitude.

“This exhibit of my work, ‘From Grief To Gratitude’ represents my gradual, personal transition from the grip of the past and fear of the future to a growing ability to be in the present moment. It’s a back-and-forth rather than a permanent state of achievement. So for me to be in nature, to slow myself down and experience the orderliness of the universe, to be in touch with the wonder of nature transports me to a place of appreciation and gratitude. When I enter this state of being, all is well. I feel safe and experience connection rather than separation.”
