As a church we are supportive of families and their needs.  We plan specific events and activities for families to grow together, participate in fellowship, and serve together.

We offer education and enrichment that builds stronger family relationships:

• The Marriage Course ~ an 8-week course presented cafe-style.  Couples are served dinners at tables for two and discuss the evening’s presentations together.
• Family Night Parenting Series ~ starts with a family meal followed by a workshop for parents and supervised play/activities for children.
• Small Groups ~ connects moms with moms, dads with dads, and parents of specific age groups with content that is family related.

We offer activities for families to participate in together as a whole and that connect families with other families:

• Advent Wreath-Making Festival ~ families gather to make a wreath for their home and experience a family tradition that anticipates the coming of Christ.
• Walk Thru Holy Week ~ families experience the events of Jesus’ last night with his disciples, his trial, death, and resurrection and connect these events in a meaningful way.
• Pajama Story Time ~ family event for preschool children and their families to wear pj’s,  hear a story, make a craft, and eat snacks.
• All Church Picnic ~ a time when our church comes together as one big family to enjoy fellowship, food, and fun.

Year-round opportunities for families to participate together in service to our community:

• Redwood Gospel Mission City Kids Festival ~ Families help host an activity booth, provide school supplies, and a day of fun for low-income families in our community.
• Redwood Gospel Mission Thanksgiving and Christmas Food Bags ~ Families help sort and package food staples to feed local families during the holidays.
• Family Service Plunge ~ Families participate in a shared mission experience serving inner city residents of San Francisco.
